What's a 'Q' number?

A 'Q' number is a 12-digit alpha numeric number. That just means it's numbers and letters, like: 0v82-a8a3-0und. It's used to make it easy to transmit your files to anyone.

You can easily send files (even if your recipient doesn't have quick access to an email account) over the phone or, if you and the recipient meet up on the street and are using the iQue iPhone interface, you can can quickly exchange files.

Sometimes you'll see the number with dashes and sometimes not. PocketQue is smart enough to understand the number either way. It's also not case sensitive so you don't have to tell people which letters are capitalized.

You can easily organize your files in to folders, and get access to them while you're on the go. You can upload files from wherever you are using almost any web browser or receive them from friends when they send or upload files to you. You can also link to files that are located elsewhere on the net, to keep everything organized in one place.

Sending files with PocketQue is easy, even if you have a file that's too large to send via email. In fact you can send as many files at once as you can hold in your account. You can send files using an email address and PocketQue will send mail to your recipient with a link to the files to download. You can also send mail using a 'Q' number so that you can tell someone over the phone or use a device like an iPhone. The people you send files to don't need to have a PocketQue account. If someone you're sending to does have an account then you can send that recipient any amount of data instantly.

You can also receive files with PocketQue. Just generate an inbox Q number and whoever you give the number to can easily upload files to you, even if they don't have an account.
